𝑻𝑯𝑬 𝑲𝑬𝒀 𝑻𝑨𝑲𝑬-𝑨𝑾𝑨𝒀:
There is no consensus when it comes to organizational policies on vaccination.
𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒆'𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒚 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒏𝒆𝒘𝒔:
1.HR departments already have information on employee health records. Thus, HR professionals may find themselves to be in the position to advise their companies on vaccination policies. In the absence of clear guidelines and industry best practices, we have to stay updated and informed. As early as now, join webinars offered by various organizations involved with vaccinations. Learn as much as you can about what is currently going on and what the plans are for roll-out.
2. Stay connected with other professionals in other companies, especially ones with the same size and industry. Try to create a collaborative approach with free information sharing.
3. For members of the C-suite, remember that your organization depends on you to continue providing a safe work environment. Given our reality, you may find yourselves filling leadership gaps that the country's leadership cannot provide. For managers, strive to be a source of clarity and comfort in these uncertain times. Keep your direct reports informed about the latest updates from your company. For HR professionals, be ready to advise your line leader counterparts. Now more than ever, they need sound guidance on how to be a more effective leader for their people.
