When Elizha asked me what I loved most about Elizha Corpus Consulting – my immediate answer was that it is impact-driven. The things we offer aren't just textbook, but it extends from a passion towards helping other people learn, grow, and succeed.
But the apparent problem that most organizations face, something that we also struggled with, is how we could share our purpose with those who might need it the most. This was the challenge that I tackled head-on when I chose to become an intern for ECC because admittedly, it would be quite difficult to make an impact without sharing a story – and without people hearing that story.
As a small team that relies on our social media presence to reach the public, we needed a clear goal as to how we could become more engaging, consistent, and impactful online. Especially now that the pandemic has basically shifted all of the platforms and tied them to the internet, it has been a rigorous competition. With that, we got to work.
We streamlined our social media processes to ensure the relevance and reach of our posts. We adapted different creative ways on how we could get more people to know and understand our story. We made our services and learning opportunities more accessible and diverse for anyone, no matter who they were or where they came from. We understood our audience and banked on empathizing with them – their struggles, their aspirations, and everything in the in-between.
Elizha was always "G" for new ideas and ventures when it came to marketing ECC. We were able to explore different strategies, avenues, and partnerships that enabled us to further share our advocacy and services with our audience.
And I believe that this was one of the most important aspects of marketing – being flexible, quick-witted, and statistically driven. But there's never a perfect formula, it's always a mix and match; a hit or miss. But one thing's for sure, throughout the almost seven months that I was here, our team was able to improve our overall presence online, and as our audience and strategies continue to grow – we've become more and more capable to swim with the big fish.
Our achievements on paper can't compare to what we've achieved so far as a team. With a working atmosphere that was founded on collaboration, open-mindedness, independence, and service, together with people whose dedication surpassed anything I've ever seen before, ECC proves that a healthy platform for its members was a huge key to its success. I am very thankful that I was given this opportunity to learn and grow, and I can't wait to see what ECC has in store for the future.
