This January is the perfect time to do this activity. It forces us to reflect on the past period and to think about the IMPACT we have created for our teams and our organizations.
⦁ Clarifying our impact can be motivating. This reminds us of the challenges that we conquered and the new skills we learned. Don't forget to congratulate yourself as you see all the good work you have done last year! 🤩
⦁ If we have a hard time defining our impact, then this is a signal that a conversation with our manager or immediate supervisor would be valuable. Maybe, we need to reset our agreements on what we should be spending our time and energy on.
⦁ This is also a chance to think about the kind of impact we wish to create in the next time period. Defining this will enable us to verbalize what we are looking for. The more we do this, the more our colleagues and leaders can connect us with relevant opportunities.
